The objective of this course is to provide participants with an understanding of the keys needed for successful voluntary insurance programs. We will cover what voluntary insurance products are along with the background and importance. Then, we will look at what employers are considering voluntary insurance products as well as who purchases voluntary insurance products. We will also talk about key success factors such as gaining employer support and program promotion. Finally, the course will discuss key success factors with regards to enrollment and re-enrollment in voluntary insurance products.

This course is designed to give licensed producers a better understanding of voluntary insurance programs. By knowing more about the keys for successful voluntary insurance programs, licensed producers will be in a better position to advise others regarding their benefit decisions.

About Our Presenter, Art Vasquez 

Art is a Strategic Sales and Account Advisor for Anthem Individual and Small Group Nevada. He began his insurance career in the life and supplemental health segment and transitioned to Individual and Small Group Health Insurance in 2013 when he joined Anthem BCBS. During his tenure with Anthem, he has held multiple roles including Individual Telesales, Individual Retention and Small Group Sales. Art’s experience lies in broker relations, benefits consulting and access to care problem solving.

In his free time Art enjoys exercising, adventure seeking, Padel and international travel.
